Private Coaching

10,000+ people have downloaded running plans from the site this year. During that time, there has been several requests for private coaching. I have now laid out an option for those of you who wish to purchase an 8, 12, or 16-Week plan written just for you. We are also following the Tom's model and on top of your purchase, we will gift a FREE private plan to an athlete selected through our application process each quarter.


After making a donation for a specific private coaching plan below, I will reach out to you with a questionnaire and then deliver the plan within 7 days of your response to the questionnaire. Please be sure to include your email address and the plan you request.


This will help allowing us to offer free running plans to the masses while giving you a more personalized approach to reach your running goals, email correspondence, and a great feeling of accountability.


8-Week Personalized Plan

  • 8-Week Private Custom Running Plan for a distance of your choice to help you start running or improve your time. 
  • Plan will be based off your questionnaire responses and any follow-up questions and delivered within 7 days of your questionnaire response.

  • Ongoing email correspondence for general questions.

Whats Included?

Custom Training Plan Designed For You

After receiving the donation and your email, we will reach out with a questionnaire to get a better understanding of what you're looking to accomplish. It may be taking that first step, running a faster time, or optimizing your training. Remember, we do offer Free Running Plans that are customizable based off your current fitness and days per week you're looking to run. We stand by the plans are incredibly proud that over 10,000 people have downloaded them!


Nonetheless, some people want a plan catered exclusively to them, back and forth communication, or just a higher level of accountability. We are write your fully customized plans and receive donations in return so we can continue offering free running plans to the masses.

Modifications

Once your plan is written and sent, you will have 3 days to review and request any modifications to the plan. There is 1 modifications allowed for the 8 and 12-week plans and 2 allowed for the 16-week plans. We are confident in the plans we're putting out there, but want to give you the flexibility to review and request any adjustments if we didn't get it exactly right.

Email Correspondence

We certainly don't have to be finished once you've receive your personal plan. I don't have a guarantee or cost built in for continued correspondence, but I am very responsive to my email and am happy to continue the conversation and answer any general questions as you work through the plan.

Accountability

Some people need that constant motivator to get out the door. We are writing a personal plan for you. We will be checking in via email and also hoping you will send us your results when you are done! 

FAQs

What is the format of the plans?

The plans are delivered to you in Excel format. This allows you to input race times as you continue through the program to receive updated paces. I will include an FAQ pdf so you understand the plan and will also be available via email for any questions about your plan.

What event should I train for?

That is completely up to you! However, I do know it can be daunting to pick the right event and I'm happy to work with you and build out a plan as specific or general as you want.

Do I need to be at a certain level to start a plan?

Absolutely not. My plans are as basic as taking that first running step, or as advanced competing for a state championship. Every runner is different and the plan will be built to your needs.

What are your thoughts on Jack Daniels, Hal Higdon, C25k, etc?

They are all great running plans! I am not here to discount any of them. If you have done your research and any of those plans work for you, then go for it! However, I feel the plans I offer provide an easier and lower barrier to entry, continued communication throughout the plan, and more customization.

Do you offer zoom, phone calls, etc?

Unfortunately, this isn't something I am able to offer. Everything will be conducted via email, but if you are more comfortable over text or need a call before a big race, I'll certainly see what I can do.

Why should I pay for a plan when you offer them for free?

I offer customizable plans for free, but there have been requests for private plans that are more customized to individuals needs. In addition to this, there's a higher level of accountability and ongoing coaching factor throughout the plan. Private plans also allow us to continue offering the Free Running Plans to the masses. You are gaining an individualized plan while donating to allow the continuation of the free
